Do you need to update your Outlook calendar holidays?

In issue 33 of the Exchange Messaging Outlook (EMO) newsletter, they mention that the holidays list in the Outlook 2003 calendar has run out (as of 2007!).

Here's what they write:

If you've just discovered you don't have the public holidays for 2009, you can download the update from Microsoft (links below). This update contains the updated HOL file for Outlook 2003. You'll need to reinstall the holidays from Tools, options, Calendar options, Holidays. Tell Outlook yes, you want to install them again.

Outlook 2007 includes holidays for 2007 – 2012 but if you are using a mailbox or PST created with an older version of Outlook, you'll need to install the holidays to get the updated list.

Check out MSKB article 924423 for more information and to download the update if you are still using Outlook 2003.
