Updated website

I've enjoyed working with the Genesis framework for WordPress so much with my new site for Random Data Generator that I've decided to apply it to Code For Excel and Outlook as well. It has taken only a few hours but the conversion is almost complete.

I hope you enjoy the new look as I work to improve the site for your benefit. If you see anything odd please let me know (nobody ever does, but I thought I'd mention that anyway). No links will change, except as I mentioned in my previous post that all links to Random Data Generator will be referred to the new site.

More updates coming

Greetings,

New blog articles will be sporadic for the time being. I'm updating Random Data Generator to work with Excel 2007. I'm also writing an add-in for the World Bank Apps For Development Contest. So my time is going towards that instead of blog posts.

I'm also writing Excel 2007 versions of my other add-ins, and some new add-ins as well.

In the meantime, if you're bored, check out my new add-in for removing whitespace from worksheets: Clean And Trim.

Also, it's not too late to register for the New York and San Francisco Business of APIs Conferences.

Enjoy,
JP

For example, if you had a list of tasks in one column, with updated dates in a second column, this routine would allow you to change the reminder date for the task to the newly updated date. Works well if you are managing a project and need to change reminder dates for particular items.
